On August 26, Mr. Abdullatif Hameli, Aramco Asia Fuels Director, and his delegation visited FREP. Acting President Lin Xu, along with Vice Presidents Suchart Phowatthanasathian and Haytham Zamzami, warmly received the guests at the Quanzhou office building and accompanied them on the tour.

During the meeting, Lin Xu, on behalf of the Company’s OOP, extended a warm welcome to Abdullatif Hameli and his delegation. Lin Xu provided a detailed update on the Company’s production safety, operation and management, and development planning. He noted that facing this year’s complex and challenging external environment, FREP has taken proactive measures to advance its initiatives, achieving significant results—marked by notable margin improvement and cost reduction, as well as record-low comprehensive energy consumption. Particularly outstanding performances were seen in Aromatics, Refining and SC units, attributable to the outcomes of the TA/revamp in 2024.

Lin Xu stated that the Company's management has consistently focused on key areas, developing and implementing annual performance enhancement plans to continuously drive improvements in business performance. He expressed special gratitude to Saudi Aramco for its long-term guidance and support in the Company's production, operation, reform and development as a shareholder. He looked forward to FREP steadily advancing toward its vision of "becoming a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness" with the strong backing of its shareholders.

Abdullatif Hameli expressed his pleasure in visiting for exchange and highly commended the business performance of FREP. He emphasized that Saudi Aramco is not only a shareholder of FREP but also aims to actively participate in production and operation as a member of the joint venture. He noted that Saudi Aramco, Sinopec, and ExxonMobil, as shareholders of the joint venture, have always maintained excellent collaboration, and this positive relationship would continue in the future. Additionally, Abdullatif Hameli specifically highlighted Saudi Aramco's accomplishments in the field of safety and reliability, pledging to provide technical support for the enhancement of related projects at FREP.

Regarding the medium-to-long-term development planning being advanced by FREP, Abdullatif Hameli explicitly stated that all shareholders are highly concerned about the planning and will fully support the Company in its operations, planning, and development, which would help the Company achieve even better business performance to reward shareholders and further consolidate and deepen the excellent cooperation among them.

Prior to the meeting, Abdullatif Hameli and his delegation visited the Company’s sand table model of units, with particular focus placed on the operation of the IGCC unit. (Xiao Wanyuan)
